Jonathan Carlsbogård is a professional handball player from Sweden, born on April 19, 1995, in Gothenburg. He plays as a left back and is known for his strength, tactical awareness, and versatility on the court. Standing at 195 cm and weighing 96 kg, Carlsbogård combines physical power with intelligent play, making him a key figure in both club and national competitions.

He began his career with Kärra HF and later moved to Redbergslids IK, where he played from 2013 to 2018 in the Swedish league. His talent soon caught international attention, and in 2018 he joined TBV Lemgo in Germany's Bundesliga. After four successful years there, he signed with FC Barcelona in 2022, joining one of Europe’s most prestigious handball clubs.

Jonathan made his debut for the Swedish national team in 2020 and quickly became an important player. With Sweden, he won the gold medal at the European Championship in 2022, silver at the World Championship in 2021, and bronze at the European Championship in 2024.
